Dorado Beach  is home to four legendary championship golf courses. The famous East and West Courses, originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., are located in a secluded seaside sanctuary along two miles of Puerto Rico’s northeasterly shores, nestled within the former Rockefeller estate’s magnificent, mature landscaping. These two courses run through lush jungle and oceanfront coconut groves and are known for their tight fairways, and for the East Course’s famed 4th hole ending at the water’s edge.  The two newer Plantation courses offer wide-open fairways, large bunkers, numerous water hazards and beautiful views of the  Puerto Rican mountains. The East Course is scheduled for renovation in 2010, followed by the West Course, both under the watchful eye of Robert Trent Jones Jr. to make sure the renovations remain faithful to his father’s original designs.
